Join comedian and improviser Cathleen Carr for this 90-minute workshop designed to reconnect humans through laughter and play. If this sounds terrifying to you, no worries, this isn't a level 1 improv class. Cathleen will weave theater and improv-based games into storytelling fundamentals so we can all feel that special human-to-human spark again!

Cathleen Carr is an artist of the comedy persuasion who lives in Wakefield, Rhode Island. Cathleen has been writing, acting, improvising, and producing for over 20 years in Chicago, Boston, and New York City. Formally a mainstage cast member of Improv Asylum in Boston, Cathleen's two-person sketch comedy show Two Girls for Five Bucks performed around the country and enjoyed an Off-Broadway run at Ars Nova in NYC. For over a decade, Cathleen has been designing, teaching, and leading positive youth development improv and theater-based programming in partnership with the New York City Department of Education with the nonprofit Opening Act. A leader in arts education and its impact on social emotional learning, Cathleen applies this worldview to any age and at any stage in life. Cathleen has taught workshops for HBO, the Lincoln Center, the AT&T Foundation, Columbia Business School, Duke's Fuqua School of Business, and many others.
